Leading Parent Partnership Award
The Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA) is a National Award that provides a coherent framework through which schools, early year’s settings and other educational organisations can deliver effective parental engagement from early years to post 16.
Schools have to work towards meeting ten different objectives before they can achieve the award.
The Framework of Objectives
Each element of the LPPA Programme is based around the 10 Objectives of the LPPA Framework. These are the key areas through which high quality parent partnership is delivered in LPPA schools and other educational settings. In brief they are:
Objective 1: Commitment
Objective 2: Planning
Objective 3: Welcome and communications
Objective 4: Lifelong learning for parents and carers
Objective 5: Induction
Objective 6: Information and guidance
Objective 7: Policies
Objective 8: Transition
Objective 9: Evaluation
Marlborough Infant and Nursery School achieved the award in 2011. The award lasts for three years. We were re-assessed for the award and we regained this in July 2014. We are now gathering evidence to ensure we renew the award in September 2017.
